5.0 HO SWAP/ Shity mechanic

I now have the 1986 5.0 ho engine in my car and the guy who did the install did not balance the flywheel or the harmonic balancer to the specs of the 1986 5.0 motor. He also tried to stick my old 71 distributor into the new motor with the origional distributor gear. Luckily I talked to you guys and got him to put on the right distributor gear for the 1986 motor. It runs but shakes and vibrates a lot . If I get the flywheel balanced to the new motor and the harmonic balancer balanced as well will my motor run correctly. thanx for any feedback...
