Nice find on the roadster Beau. It should make a nice addition to your collection. Now you need to find a half cab to complete the set. Cool that your dad will be working on it with you.

Hey Blue, that's a great truck you found!!! It might be a twin of my truck because, I'm restoring Arcadian blue U13, September build, DOS Houston truck. lol What are your numbers in your VIN? It would be curious to see how closely the trucks were actually made together!

Mine are 753604

Thanks Jeff

755722 ..... Sounds like they are twins

Looks like a fun project! My '66 Bronco looked to be in similar condition. She'll be a beaut when finished.

Spent a couple more hours at it last night, got the harness completely pulled. It look pretty nice only found one frayed wire. Finished pulling steering column and pedals. Also got the windshield pulled, it is still sporting the factory glass it looks like.

A little Friday night and some coors light.
Got the floorpans started. First shot at floorpans what a pain in the ass. This is about as much as my back can handle in one night.

While exposed I did find the Vin stamp

Does a roadster have to have U130 on the VIN?

Yes still atached to driver kick panel

I seen a VIN on a 1966 Looked like the first 3 digits/letters were U13FLS0XXXX. But I may have been mistaken??? Rest of VIN 092 8 (model) U150. Thanks!

Coming along nice! Where did you get your sheet metal? It look like the panels that the Bronco Hut is selling

I got the panels at bronco graveyard. I am fortunate I only live 20 minutes from there ! It is a blessing and a curse since it is so easy to spend money

Also spent some time stripping the seats getting them ready for blasting and recovering

Anyone need some slightly used seat covers for a 66 ? I will make you a really good deal

Also found the stamp on the door inserts
