ThanX Red... more work to be done this week. I pretty much have the outside done... now to focus on the underbelly and the inside.

I should get a new 302 in a couple weeks to drop in. Bummer it won't be driveable by the Puerco run... maybe Cruces in Oct!

OK... so Ive decided to ditch the t-case shifter from the transmission hump... to give me more room for the stereo and such... but I need to shift still.

SO

Here's the idea... make a twin shifter that fits under the dash and uses control cables to move the shift rails.

I know it's been done before... but there doesn't seem to be much info around on how to do it... so here's my splash in the pond.

looked at those... but I have a Dana 20 and not an Atlas... saw some other similar ones and I think I got a decent idea for the mounting bracket for the t-case.

I already dropped 200 bone on the cables... so I guess I'm committed ;)

Well... I opted not to go on the NM Puerco run to get some more stuff done on the beastie today.

Here's a list of what got done:
- Installed Tail light assemblies
- Installed & wired the license plate assembly
- Put on the tail gate guard
- Put on the new wheels
- put on hood shocks
- put in custom door limiters
- put on the spare tire loop
- various little odds & ends... including putting away and consolidating all my parts and tools.

I still need to do the suspension lift... but I won't do that until I get more of the interior done. Maybe tomorrow... :)

Haha, I'm good, stinks I have them all in storage right now though. I do need to clean my windshield to put the sticker on, it'll look slick!

Since no one has guessed I'll take a stab, it's a modified windshield hinge to allow a wiper setup coming for m the bottiom instead of the top of the windshield.

OK... let's play a game... for those who aren't knowledgeable on the "secret squirrel"....;D

What is it? What does it do?

I'll toss an Alpha Bronco tee and decal to whomever guesses right first ;D

actually it's dust... I was working on a piece of fiberglass and the dust got everywhere. It's so dry here that static grabs it when you wipe it a bit.

I almost panicked there man!

rims= 15"x10" Tires are 15"x12.5"x33"

BELIEVE IT OR NOT... THERE WILL BE SOME FABRICATION OF SPEAKER BOXES AND CONSOLES TOMORROW ;)
