I become more and more envious each day! Keep up the good work. Looking forward to seeing the concealed hood locks!

thanks Phred... I'm just having fun with it. I want the comforts of a newer vehicle... but you can't beat the EB. I posted in another thread that I just don't like any of the new vehicles that have been produced in the US... the new Mustang is the only remote exception. Nothing is quality... nothing has got a unique style.... so I guess I just have to make my own. :)

Hood locks are going to be down the road a bit. I want to get this thing driveable first... things like the locks can be put in later fairly easy.

The console plates are looking good. Keep those pictures coming. I can't wait to see that console all buttoned together. :)

I too agree about the lack of quality of US made vehicles. For that matter all new vehicles. The newest thing I own is a 78 model bronco, currently being upgraded, but not to the extent of your EB. I believe cars should be steel, with steel or aluminum skins and bumpers. I hate plastic parts. Keep up the good work.

just as a reminder. This is the first restore... build... project like this that I have ever tackled. This summer will be 2 years since I picked the thing up... no matter what you think you can or can't do... ANYTHING is possible.:)

Adam, this is a super nice build. You should be very proud of yourself. lots of good ideas and workmanship. I do wish we had por 15 pictures. Enjoy it, it looks like it is well deserved.

Adam sent me and my daughter an Alpha Bronco T shirt and some stickers. So we took a few pictures. The shirts are real nice. Mine even fits!
Thanks Adam.

Those stainless panels look good (if I do say so myself). It's cool to see a project like this take shape.

Progress on the stainless panels for the center console;D

Unfortunately I don't have the right tools to countersink all the screw heads... so it gets dropped off to a machine shop tomorrow.

All the contours match the plates perfectly now... almost there.

I just read through this whole thread (noob), and... wow. Just amazing. Best part is, you must be a hero in your son's eyes. Great way to inspire him and, no doubt, spend some quality time. Kudos, can't wait to see it finished.
