For me to redo the rear closer to stock, I will need to cut the fender and put wheel wells to fit the 35s. To do that I need to move the radiator, and to move the radiator, I need to swap the engine.

No you don't. Cut the fenders, put flares on, send it. There's no rulebook with this Bronco, clearly the PO threw it out long ago so roll with it. I get that there is a screen right where you need to put a flare so do it anyway. What if you do and your temps stay perfect? If not, move the radiator towards the center of the tub about 6" to get more air flow. The 300/NP435 is a good combo, keep it for now. It's what you have and it runs and it's in the truck and etc.....

PS - If you're OCD or a perfectionist this Bronco is going to drive you crazy.

I saw this picture and thought about you wanting to move the radiator in the front. This Bronco has a 460 in it so the radiator is directly behind the grill. He may have made his own core support. Not sure why there's hearts on this picture.

I No; Its Been Awhile.

Some would kill for the 4.9 ina EB (me'n I'm not alone).

1st off thnx 4 askin 4 input, we all got opinions & it's great 2B asked for them.
I'd like less opinion and more on what U really want. A bronk w/ 37 does not look like a st machine.
2nd - I think that is illiegal for the state of NY. Tires are outside of fenders.
3rd - (opinion) soften up the ride w/lighter springs.

If still arund, workin on this, let me know - a locl group in BONES (bronks, noreast states):

with such big tires there must have been gearing change that would work well with 35s and overdrive tranny. just gotta check the numbers. other than swapping to 35" tires I wouldn't do a thing until you have a solid game plan. converting this monster to a street / trail civilized Bronco is going to cost some big bucks and you only want to do it once. its not like the old days where you cobbled up wrecking yard parts and made conversions. Now you got to pay for it and with current inflated prices for everything and a whole lot of back ordered parts to boot.

I love everything about both Broncos pictured in this thread. It would be a crying shame if these old trucks all become so collectable that we lose the crazy ones!
Keep it up, and keep posting the pics, they make my day.
