So, I blew up my 1973 Bronco engine.
The water temp gauge was not working, and the head gasket was passing water. My dad told me to keep checking water every day and I ignored him. I guess he knows what he's talking about.
Soooo......it's at the shop getting a fresh reman 302 longblock and the mechanic is going to also install a new front side gas tank my dad bought. The old one I guess got ripped out after a 4WD mishap.
The mechanic says there is a manual diverter under driver seat but that it seems to have too many ports for two tank to a non emissions control vehicle.
Can anyone share a diagram or instructions on all the fuel line connections or point me to a source? He says its ready to go except for the gas tank. I'm itching.
Also, if I buy an Edelbrock intake, do most agree that Holley TruckMaster 470 is a good choice for carb, and if so, do I need to run new dual exhaust for that set up?
