a little confused here

like the title says,
0n my 75 the axle code reads 18j...... i thought this was a 68 axle code.
my title and vin on the glove box door says 1975 and on the frame.
any idea's on this.thank's

On anything '73 and later the J indicates factory power steering. So a '75 18J should be 3.50:1 with factory power steering.
