Johnson lifters. Not the big ones though.

Next problem on the list is how to mount 2.25" diameter "lake pipes" up under the rockers, full length. Don't want them to be a burn hazard for people getting in and out and don't want them to burn the fiberglass or paint either.

Yeah the big Johnson lifters are way too big. But they would solve your pushrod problem.
Lake pipes, nice touch. Fiberglass body correct? Looks like you need a combo mount of stainless heat shield / rocker protection. Your the fab king. You can come up with something sexy I am sure.

Your the sofa king too but talent is still talent.

I'm still trying to figure out what material to put between the ss heat shield and the fiberglass body it is mounted on. Something that can get wet a lot...thin but effective...

It has most of a doghouse now...had to give up on using the fiberglass front clip. Got the exhaust almost finished up..and the lake pipes shortened.

The Corona,
like many of Bill's projects,
remains unfinished.

:d........ In the last 20 years, I've finished about a dozen builds (EB's..Scouts..vintage Harleys..vintage powerboats....full-size Broncos..)..and have at least another another 6 or 8 remaining. It's just how I roll...

Love the flat head radiator mounts;)

The effer didn't fit. Not enough room for the electric fan. Setting the raddy forward in the core support 2" now
...:p Good thing I scrapped the fiberglass front clip though; I had a pretty good idea that the radiator was going to be a tad too close.
