AFI EFI Temp Sender?

I am installing an Affordable Fuel Injection TBI system on a stock ford 302 with a stock manifold. Where can I install the EFI Temp sender and the Gauge Temp sender? My heater port current has a open /close valve so I will get an inaccurate reading if I put a T their when it is closed. Can I put a T is the stock Temp Port and put them both there or is there another pot I am missing?

Thanks

Generally you put a T in the heater line and put the sensor there. Keep the sensor as close to the manifold as practical. There is enough conduction and water turbulence that it will read coolant temp just fine.

AFI temp sensor

I installed the AFI sensor in the manifold and tapped the thermostat housing with a 3/8" pipe tap to hold the gauge sensor. The gauge works like it should because of the bypass and the ECM gets what it needs.
