I'm happy with the system. Right now it's the rainy season here and it really helps with defogging issues. The duct work is out of sight at this point; the photos where of the install which showed routing. The vents are the only things that shows.

The BC set up mounts the compressor on the driver side. The Vintage air and Toms air systems mount the compressor on the passenger side.

If you noticed the kit I have installed is from BC broncos and the compressor is on the passenger's side. This was their earlier kit now the new kit they have has the compressor on the driver's side.

You can mount it anywhere you want with the correct brackets.

I am very interested in getting one of these AC units. In fact I called them yesterday, but she never called back like she said she would. But I do have a question. It was asked earlier in the post, I think.
Can the duct work be hidden. I would rather go without AC than to have it hanging down. That just looks bad and unprofessional.
Sorry to here no one called you back. Most likely I was the one that was to return your call. I try to return calls between calls and work. Sometimes I lose a few. I was gone for almost 2 weeks and you wouldn't believe the stack of stuff I am still working on.

Thanks for the help and pix. Another dumb question though. I have read too many threads, articles, etc. on radiators. Florida doesn't have the high air temperature of Texas, or really anywhere in the SW (mid-high 90's), so what radiator do I need to be safe? Stock 302, Doug Thorley headers w/dual exhaust. Currently running 33X12.50 BFG M/T's, but moving to 37X14 Iroks with 4.11 gears.

Looks like there are a lot of folks interested or at least was interested... Any chance in getting a discounted group buy going on the kit?

-Ed

PS-You guys need to take a little time and re-route the hoses... get em stuffed under the dash somehow... it would like a lot nicer.

Ed,
it's not possible with the dash in the stock location and the amont of stuff that I have mounted behind it. I'll choose function over nice anyday...

Why be pretty if it doesn't work?

It can be tuck in behind the dash and out of sight, but it is tight. I had to modify the glove box a little, but it was about a 30 minute job and I like where the fuse panel ended up better than original. It makes the box smaller, but you don't have to stick your head in the box to read the fuses.

They are as cheap as I can get them, in fact my cost has gone up 3 time without my price going up but the next time I get a price increase my price will have to go up, sorry.

I have a question... do you have a picture of where you ran your condensation line for the A/C?

I just got mine charged up for the first time ever (after purchasing it 6 years ago) and as I was cruising home and enjoying the cool air... it dumped a bunch of condensation on the passenger floor. Reached under there and there it was... a threaded drain... figured it was too easy :)

With supplied tube I ran it through a drilled hole in the passenger kick panel.

Do you recall if it was some sort of special hose? I definitely don't have it anymore so I'd need to buy something locally :)

It's just a 1/2"? thin rubber hose about 2' long.
I'll post a pic when I get home.
