Stock alternator and regulator, both we new in 2017. Been running fine but the voltage has been low at idle, under 12(like its only reading battery), give it just a little bit of throttle and voltage jump up to 14+. Never really concerned myself with it until now. Just switched to Sniper EFI which needs to have 12.5 or better constantly so it now it concerns me. Does this sound like a bad regulator. Wiring is good, new centech harness in 2017 also.

The normal voltage of a charged battery is 12.6V. It sounds like you should look at the regulator.
