Another kill switch idea

I’m working on a 70 that has a hazard switch in the dash but I’m using a later column with another hazard switch in it.

Could I route a kill switch in a factory style dash hazard switch. 3 birds with 1 stone: looks factory, fills an unneeded hole, and adds a little protection in a convenient spot. Could this work and if so how’s it need to be wired? Running a painless harness.

Yes. Its been done. When the hazard switch is pulled all the terminals on it are shorted together. You could run your ignition wire or electric fuel pump through it. Switch would need to be pulled to run.
