Got my battery box today..... Here's the master in disguise;D

He looks like the guy who lost his stapler on Office Space!!!! But I tell you what, I'll pay $300 plus shipping if he would make me one! I really like this!

Nice work. Just picked up a Hossfeld bender with 1 3/4 and 2" dies. Look forward to doing heaps of bending.

If you guys are interested, I can actually supply that rectangular ring as well and just make it a package deal.

I would just need the dimensions on it and where you guys would like any applicable holes!

Thanks for the kind words on the battery box as well. I've tried to make something that is reasonably priced yet strong enough to get the job done.

How did I miss this thread?

This is a different approach than I did or have seen, but I LIKE IT! One of those thinking "outside of the box" ideas. I am still fighting radiator mount issues on mine - my bottom mount is actually on some angle iron welded between the two frame rails and I am in the process of re-working the top mounts. My radiator sits higher than my top tube and my existing mounts have too much "spring" to them and not so much down pressure. I like how you have incorporated both top and bottom into yours.

Since I did my battery box like that, I have seen others actually chop the cowl and firewall out and box it in rather than just "sleeve" it like I did. I have a sheet metal rain hat for over the battery that will hinge up (with the hood all the way on the windshield frame), but that's another I'll mount it one day project.

Great work!
