I don't know the quality nowadays but the motors we used to use at the Ford garage were done by an authorized Ford rebuilder and had a pretty good warranty . I don't know where they got their cores as we used to destroy all warranty parts , made me sick to take a sledge hammer to a block and cave the sides in .
