I ordered some 3.5" coils a while back from a catalog that i cant remember but have yet to install them. The bronco i am trading my bronco for has james duff coils, and i dont know which coils to run. From what i remember from a few years ago when i bought the deaver coils, I compared the 2 and from what the descriptions stated, that deaver coils seemed to be just a bit better for smooth highway driving and for articulating off-road, but i know you cant always go by product descriptions. So for my question, i know duff coils are far more common and popular but are they really better than deaver? thank you in advance for your help. Caleb

I have Deaver super flex coils from JBG. They do flex well but not the best coil for a street runner unless you use a swaybar.

Something else to consider is just how old are the Duff's on the other truck?

got duffs springs on the eb and a deaver 4" coils and 11 pack leafs on the tow rig. That duffs are good and not too spongy. The deavers make the tow rig ride like a big old lincoln. kinda floats down the highway which is nice on long drives doesn't beat you like the stock springs did. I do run big sway bars front and rear on the tow rig and I suspect that without them I would get a lot of body roll.
