Just checking to see if you guys can pinpoint what year the Bronco is, that was flipped and rolled near the first part of the 2006 movie "Texas Chainsaw Massacre - The Beginning" To bad the kids flipped it and tore it all to heck. Let me know what ya think.

Ask mp.

I think he ran across them (there were several), and I thought he put up a post on them.

Thanks for the YouTube Clip. In the actual movie the scene is longer and you can tell some better detail to the year it might be.

It WAS a 77......%)

I could see the J-shift linkage, front disc brakes, larger rear drums and inverted-Y steering linkages when it flipped over.....

Damn! I'm good!!

I wish I would have gotten more info on them when I saw them. Went back a couple weeks after I saw them initially and they were all gone! I still have the guys card, so I might call him to see what became of them......

They were a mish mash of trucks. The main truck had 1969 Texas license plates, but I never got to check the VIN or look at it that closely. I wnat to say it had a D44

The wrecked one I saw on the lot had a Dana 30, so it was probably pre 72. I asked if they rolled it in the movie (I never saw it) and he said they only hit a cow?

The tub they used for close ups while the actors were in the truck was a 77 tub with the gas doors. Not sure what happened to the frame and running gear off it--maybe that is what Mad saw.....

Gas Filler Doors. That's how I remember it about the 77, The other 77 parts I just made up...;D .. The tub was on some kind of prop. There were pics that mp posted on a thread awhile back, I tried to search it but came up with nothing.

It was something about seeing an EB behind a building and when he took a closer look there were 2 more all painted the same color. After searching for the owner, he found out that there were for the movie set...
Something like that..
