i just bought this one, and i am excited, i have a man tans and i dont know if i got the with out the trans cooler how can i tell?? Maybe i can stop it before i come.

I would bet that there is only one type. With the cooler. If you don't need the cooler, then put some plugs in it so it stays clean. So what. It's still a great buy. Use it for a while then sell it for scrap. It's too cheap to sweat the small stuff.

I know I said that I'd never buy another aluminum radiator but for that price I may just order one, It's cheaper than the copper core..

I wonder what the shipping is to Hawaii?

Someone go out and put it to the test, let the rest of us know how it goes.

Looks like a pretty decent radiator to me. I may order one...if a few people come back saying they provide adequate cooling.

I actually ordered the one without the automatic transmission cooler and still got one with the cooler. I notice that the part number on both looked the same, so I think they only sell it with...but that makes it worth more to most folks anyway. I am considering running my power steering return through it. In the past few days I have really tried to test mine. I have put half of my 23 gal. tank of running time into it idling for more than 30 minutes, running over 3000 rpm for a while and so far all is good.

I snagged one too. Looks like all welded seems, no epoxy. I also got the cooler, just won't use it. Only thing I can find that I didn't like about it is the upper mounts do not seat perfect. No biggie for the price though.

Alright guys, lets get these things installed and get some reports.

If they turn out to be good (don't why they wouldn't) then the rest of us can order one before the price goes up. No doubt...the increased demand will be noticed by the vendor and prices will jump.

I can email some pictures if you send me an email address, but can't post them on here. I noticed a couple of these for sale now over on Ebay....and they are going for around $200! Now that is the free market at work.....I will be waiting for my commission.;D See that is another reason to keep in touch on this site. Those buyers over on Ebay obviously are not on this site and they lost out!

I installed mine over the weekend. I lowered my radiator 2" so that I could put on a fan shroud. (2" BL). I've had this new shroud for 5 years, It's finally in. What a PITA, I wanted to use the same stock mounts. "I'll just cut them off and drop them down a bit". How long could it take? Well I finished Sunday night, thought I would be done by lunch on Sat. I guess thats why I've had that new shroud for 5 years. I like how it fits, being lowered and having a fan shroud. I guess now is the time to get some fresh JB weld epoxy for my trail kit.

I also installed mine with a 2" BL, but since I needed a fan shroud anyway, I mounted the radiator in the stock location and installed a WH shroud built to accommodate the 2" BL. This put my fan 2" lower on the radiator than yours, I wonder if that will have any effect on cooling? The fan is still well below the bottom of the radiator.

You are 1 weekend ahead of me. I should of just bought a bodylift shroud. I don't think you will have any cooling issues because of your shroud placement. Or where your fan is in relation to the radiator. Not because of 2". You just saved yourself, several hours of work, multiple trips to the hardware store, and some welders sunburn. I was being stubborn because I already bought a stock shroud a few years back.
BTW thanks for the Parts Train tip.

Damn, I sprung for a BC 3 core triple pass and had to delete my transmission exchanger as a result. That's a nice looking radiator and the fit seems good too, keep us posted as to how it works longer term!

Orderd mine yesterday and the man in the brown truck dropped it off a little bit ago, first thoughts is it looks good, price is good, and shipping was real good. Now if everything else turns out as good I'll be happy

I bought one of these a couple weeks ago and it looked good, so I ordered a few more. What a mess that has turned out to be! Only one of the second order arrived and I have spent at least 6 hours over the last week trying to get this mickey mouse outfit to man-up to the error and ship the balance. I keep getting a different person (so I have to tell the whole story again, and again, and again!) who gives be the same BS boilerplate in broken english that I can barely understand!

I have asked for a manager multiple times and can never get one. The customer service from this place is HORRIBLE!

I was on hold for over an hour just this morning!

What a fiasco!
