Has anyone attempted to rework an explorer wire harness themselves. I think i want to try to do it myself being that Gary is so backed up. How hard is it to do? I have all the tools and a good understanding of what it takes (watched the videos that efiguy made). Just curious how tough it was to get it done before i tear into it.

I think quite a few here have done it, at least before Garry got involved.
Hopefully you'll get some good insight from those that have been there.

Though I seem to remember tales of large dining room tables being covered in un-wrapped harnesses that resemble spaghetti factory explosions.
How's your family at sharing their space? Do you have good workbench or shop floor space in your garage? Gonna' help keep the domestic bliss I think.;)

I started watching Gary’s part 1 video on YouTube and is very informative. I believe I can handle the harness mods.

I did it and thought it was fairly easy. It takes time and attention to detail but it’s certainly not a horrible task for anyone that has a basic understanding of auto wiring.

Were you able to complete the entire harness only using Gary's videos?

Not to hard if you take your time and look at diagrams and Garys videos, have done a few and not over the top
