Anyone running 315/70/16 on 16 " wheels?

I have 315/70/17s and they are 34.5 inches tall.

I have 315 70 R16 BFG all terrains on my superduty they are about 33 1/2" tall on the truck.

Might be the load range...the load range E tires are stiff as hell and ride pretty harsh.

Another problem I am finding with 315-70-R16 is there are not many tire choices in this size. BFG, Nitto, and I think Procomp are the only ones I could find that had a good allterrain or mud tire. There used to be more but when the big three went from 16" rims to 18" and 20" alot of the tire companies stopped making the 16" rim size tire. Plus they are high dollar I just had a set of four priced out at around $1200 for ATs.

I'm running an old set of BFG 315/75/16 MTs KM. I love the tire and the size. My tires are almost wore completely out and are not loud riding down the road. When I buy a new set of tires I'm prob. going to go back with the same tire and same size....inless I get crazy and go up to a 36" or 37".
