ARB Bulkhead fitting.

I'm trying to install an older ARB into a Dana 44. The ARB has the old style copper line to the housing. I cannot find a bulkhead fitting for this application. All the newer stuff has a completely different style of hoses inside the Diff.

Anyone know where I can find this?

I would call ARB...whenever I've had a question about their product, new or old, they've been super helpful and responsive. That said, my brother's ARB fittings on his Toyota are the older design (might be comparable to what you have) as compared to what I'm putting on my EB, and when he needed a replacement, he just ordered them direct from ARB.

If you're replacing them, now would be a good time to upgrade to the newer style bulkhead fittings, as they're easier to install and less prone to leaks.

The rear ARB that I run is apparently the "old style". A broken ring gear tooth took out the metal line in there and they told me that they do not support that setup anymore with parts but they'd be happy to sell me a new ARB. Well, the ONLY reason I'm now putting them in at all is I made my own repair and I had already bought the front ARB before the rear broke.

I found the part I need at IronPigOffroad.com.
Thanks

I looked at the newer style and I didn't see how the steel line would attach. I'm good with how long the old style has held up in the rear.
Thanks,

If you made your own copper line to repair the original then you can use whatever you like that matches your new line. Just find a bulkhead fitting that matches your new line.

At the time, I didn't plan on changing the line, but as I was setting it to fit for shims, the line cracked. Now I have to locate the solder I bought for the last repair.%)

They don't use the copper line from the locker to the housing any more? What do they use now?

The ARB's that I just put in the 4rnnr use an o-ring in the bulkhead fitting. The fitting for the hose that screws into the bulkhead squishes the o-ring around the copper tube as it is tightened.

I discovered that the internal threads in the bulkhead fitting are 3/8 UNF, the same as brake tube nuts. As finding 5mm poly tube fittings in the US isn't easy I converted to -3 braided SS hose for the flex sections and am using 3/32" (~4mm) poly tubing for the runs along the frame rail. Can buy 3/32" "poke-n-hope" fittings much more easily. The two -3AN X 3/8UNF adapter fittings had to be shortened and have an ID chamfer added to the 3/8UNF end to duplicate the ARB part.
