Well its been a couple of weeks and this morn I was set in the head to work on the carb and install the new fuel pressure regulater. Well the new reg had different fittings than the one I had so fuel was leaking all over then I tried to combine the two which made me more angry which is a whole other story.....
So I left that alone and attempted the offroad springs setup and rebent the floats, metering rods, jets and springs swap in my carb. After going through the manual and looking at what I had and what I wanted to achive I went ahead and came up with some positve progress. I can actually drive now with my windows open and not die of exhaust fumes. Still need to get the exhaust out the rear but that is another time.
I am getting somewhere, so i think i might have to change the metering springs cause under a load it has a slight burp/ hesitation and this seems like it is starving for vaccume which leads me to believe that it is spring related. In this whole process i found some more crap in the fuel filter and cleaned it out.

Well move foward a couple months, getting ready to do the fron disk conversion with my buddy Joe and two days ago I see I have a antifreeze leak well its from the Rad which im not happy about cause its aluminum and its was $$$$ well I think I never had it seated right and wore a hole in it so I drained the system today and took it out. Im going to drop it off @ a rad shop tomorrow and have them check it out.
I also plan on having the swing arm tire carrier welded to my rear bumper and I am going to tear out the seats and rug and durbak the inside. Big doings happing hope it all comes into play... oh yea I have to pick up my new tranny NP435 in MA. after my trip, all this needs to be done before the BYOB

Picked up a hartop on monday and I have been working on it a little everyday. It had two holes but not the bad and dent free. The first thing i did was remove the cauking from the rail. It took some time and I applyed a first coat of durabak then glassed the two holes a second heavy coat and a quick prime as of yesterday.

Came home from work and went over to my buddies house and gave the rail a 3rd coat and it might be last before the final coat. I also gave the fron of the rock skis there 1st coat....
