Anyone here using the Wild horses heavy duty battery cables?
The starter cable is really long compared to the one I replaced it with. As far as I know my starter solenoid is in the factory spot.

The other 2 cables fit fine.

Is this your '69? If so, is the starter relay mounted down on the inside surface of the wheel well, facing the exhaust manifold?
If so, that's the early factory position and is slightly closer (like 6" or so) to the starter than the '70 and later models.

Although, I didn't know that would make ours too long for the early applications.
Is there a way to just clamp it out of the way first? Such as aim it straight down along the wheel well, then down across the frame rail?

You running headers?

The relay does face the headers. My son took the initiative to install it last night. I saw it this morning, but I haven't taken the time to reroute it.

Thanks.

Replaced my 4 gauge with 2. What a difference. Most any battery store can make you a set.
4 would not be heavy duty.
