so I've been scrubbing tirelessly on the bottom of the truck and have finally gotten most everything down to bare metal. My original plan was to use the KBS product to treat and paint the bottom of the floor pans and chassis a satin black. After more thought i entertained the idea of using a roll on bedliner to coat the bottom of the pans in an effort to keep some sound and heat out. I know that upol raptor liner, lizard skin, and a couple of others have been used but i wondered if anyone knew of a good roll on application? Its a tight area and a brush or roll on would be easier. Lastly - obvioulsy the exhaust will run near this stuff, any issues there? is it worth the extra money and effort to deviate from my original plan of the KBS paint. How much real advantage is there to the bedliner from a sound and heat standpoint?
Anyone done anything like this? i saw the monstaliner product was popular on the jeep sites?
