blinker flasher unit - help!

I got this bronco earlier this year and this is the first time I've had to really work on it. When the previous owner had it, the signal switch broke so he opted to use an add-on style blinker (similiar to school bus), hacking into the wiring harness.

I have since replaced the factory signal switch and now the turn signals are again working. However they will not flash because there is no flasher unit (the add-on signal had a "flasher" unit as part of the assembly). I have the flasher unit but I need to know which wires should be spliced in/reconnected for it to work.

Any help would be appreciated.

thanks for the link but i already have the diagrams and they're of limited help (but they were good for getting the rest of the wiring figured out).

Looks to me like this diagram has what you need

Looks to me like it is the orange-yellow strpe wire and the blue wire.

The diagram is marked with numbers for the wires and there is a legend at the bottom showing which wires those numbers are.

Good luck!
