At least you have hair to cover the scar. Self medication would certainly be in order after that.

Som of a bitch that hurt. I just ran into the tailgate. Truck on the lift and the tailgate was down. Turned the corner and ran right into it. I looked for the body damage thread. no luck.

What a gash---how many beers or should I say how many stitches:( I did the same thing that bronckrawler said only it was elec conduit, my gash was round---not as bad as yours though.

Now I am cross eyed? I'm going to have to get "Lowbush" to come over with that pipe and do the cow trick on me.

I bought some furniture that looked like that, they called it "fatigued" and charged me more for it.

Several years ago. Hardtop hanging from the garage ceiling. Plenty of walking room under it, except for the rear posts. Still have the dent in my skull. Posts now have tennis balls.

No staples, nails or stitches. Just a cold pack and cookie. yes I did see stars. I hit that sucker hard. Stood up and wondered to myself, Am I cut? As I feel the warm sensation running down my forehead. Went back an took a look at the tailgate and there was some hair sticking to it. No duck, We have that pigeon that tries to do the duck thing. It's all good, I think I will live thru it. I have to go take a shower. I figure if I put my head in a plastic bag it wont get too wet. I think it's going to sting a little.

Think safety, while showering with a plastic bag over your head, and be careful ;)

I played soccer for 18 years. One result of this, is an instinctive reflex to catch falling objects with my feet, or at least slow the fall to save the item. As a result, I have saved knives in the kitchen, small sledge hammers, and various other things that actually needed saving. The one that really sticks out in my mind, however, is when I was moving the t-case intermediate housing and I caught the input gear as it slipped out. It is a wonder I still have all my toes.
