Borgeson Steering Box

I upgraded my steering box to a Borgeson 4 turn. When installing I just dropped the pitman arm, but left it connected to the drag link. I centered the box and reinstalled the arm. Now my DS tire is rubbing my sway bar before I get to full lock, but my PS tire clears.

Running 4 1/2" WH Coils and 35s.

What are my best options to fix this? Wheel spacers? Adjust the knuckle bolt?

When you reinstalled the pitman arm, was it parallel to the frame, or angled slightly towards the driver's side front wheel? It should be angled slightly towards the DS wheel when reinstalled. Not my rig, but this is what I was told (and after installing, agreed) it should look like. Both DS and PS wheels have no contact with my swaybar when going lock-to-lock. https://share.google/WyGOHGWvrnXgTGLef

It's angled towards the DS. I have a steering stabilizer so if it was parallel to the frame the shock would be almost fully compressed with the wheels straight.

Nothing about the steering box would make it suddenly make the tire rub if it didn't before.

If it didn't before, that means your previous setup didn't allow you to turn the wheel that far. Now you can. You need to figure out how to re-adjust so you have the same amount of turn as before.

Just a guess, but the previous box may not have been in the middle with the wheels straight.

But make sure that the sway bar is centered first.
Since a '73 did not have a factory swaybar (or "anti-sway bar") then it's aftermarket. Who's is it, and is it skewed to one side? Maybe it can move inside the clamps and just got pushed to one side.
Of course, it's all a system, so it's ore of an "all of the above" regarding checking things.

It's a helwig sway bar.. I will check that as well. Just by eye, it looks like the track bar needs to be adjusted.

The box is about 4 1/4 turns lock to lock and it's centered.

Thanks all for the help. I'll report back when I can.
