Ok so I though I would help out an older guy who asked me to install a brake booster on his 1974 all drum brake EB because he said it is getting hard for him to hold the brakes. He uses the Bronco in the mountains for land surveying. Anyway I bought the James Duff complete booster kit, install it and I cannot get the front brakes to bleed. The back bleed great, I have worked on this for 3 nights and about 4-6 hours per night. I have tried every possible way to get them to bleed. I have used (wasted) 1.5 large bottles of brake fluid. If I switch the master cylinder line form the front bowl to back bowl. I have great pressure at the front brakes and can bleed the front. So I think its the MC, I get a new MC bench bleed and check eveything yet once again and the same thing no front brakes. Everything is new all brake lines all wheel cylinders all shoes and springs. to be honest the brakes worked very good when they were manual. I know that my lines are hooked up right because I have checked all of my other Broncos and evrything is where it is should be. I have flushed the H block. I am getting ready to go back out to the shop to go over it yet again for the 30,000th time just wondering if you guys have any ideas. I hate side jobs. It would be different if this were mine but this is really getting old.

Which port on the mc is working, the plunger may not be returning all the way back, or it may not be going in deep enough, it could just need the depth set on the rods...just my 2cents...Mike

Only the rear port for the rear brakes is working which is the M/C bowl farthest from the brake pedal
