Brake light pedal switch, bushing, and washer locations

Does anybody know the as originally installed positions of the plastic washer and the plastic shoulder bushing for the brake light switch?

Fiddling with the parts, it seems like the shoulder bushing and the washer are meant to be sandwiched by the tangs on the brake light switch, but that creates a riding condition of the edge of the switch on the flat surface of the brake pedal, which seems off.

Putting the washer on before the switch leaves a big gap between the switch tangs which seems off.

I'm pretty sure it was only a single washer originally, so not sure.

Probably both options would okay, but seems somebody knows OEM install methods.

Three pics attached, parts, jpg shows the various bits. washer inside.jpg shows the riding condition between switch and pedal, and washer outside shows riding condition is eliminated but the large gap introducted between the switch tangs.

Any advice appreciated.
