Hmm….i noticed a pigtail adapter from the harness to the steering column in the manual that had different ways of wiring depending on early, mid or late steering columns. It shows a white/red wire that goes to the column type hazard switch as well. Might be something flaky with a connection/s in the adapter somewhere? Seems like the original high resistance possibility has gone away only to have something else pop up.
