Well looks like I broke the d44 under the red and white racer. Not that it had not been hammered on but I was stupid. I was pulling a stump
( hurricane) out to the street for trash pick up. I got to the end of the drive and made a sharp turn in reverse on dry pavement. POP, Shudder. Crap I know what that is. Got it on the lift tonight and sure enough. The pinion is missing teeth and I have carrier pieces. Broke the pinion gear and the recoil broke the carrier. All for a stump! I are smart. Anyway looks like I got some work to do. Windrock in 23 days?

Wow pulling a stump. Maybe next time cut off the 60 foot tree of the top of the stump. Pulling backwards is alway bad on the front carrier. I hope you're bearing caps survived the ordeal.

At least its at home where your set-up to do this work. Tough break.

best wishes. I hate scrambling just before an event.

Thought about it. A 60 would cost about 4K to get it where you could beat on it. Plus I would have to re valve the front shocks and it would not fly as good with the extra weight of the 60. Im in the shop tonight taking it all down.

Build a 9" for the front. Very strong and simple.
