NNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I guess it is safe to say without a complete motor at your disposal you would have to do a full disassemble of your current motor?

Tore down the engine today Timing chain was still there but very stretched.
Valve train looked good so was going to pull the pan. Went to take out starter and it was wedged in, I had replaced it 3 months ago with a new unit.
A Thrust spacer had broken off the bendix an got wedged between the flywheel and starter locked it up solid. So just need a starter and a timing set and it back on the road. Found a engine at a friends shop but won't need it for now.;D ;D ;D

WCB was there and also WH was there last year... haven't heard other than Dusty that would be up there.

But looking forward to seeing you all there, especially those who'll be at Oceanside to caravan with my husband (broncoxraptor, if you don't know already, hehe) and me.

Man this thing sounds fun, wish I could go. Someone has to post some video of all the Broncos in action. Looks like a really cool time.

What's the best way to get there from the OC? Last year I took the 76 and that sucked. There has to be a better way!

You can take the I-10 to indio then jump on the 86 for a few miles and then
make a right on the s-22 into Berago Springs.

I will be comming down the SR-79 from Tenecula area
so I guess I will see ya there.

I am not going, the wife got into a fender bender no money now

More like fender breaker.

I'm doing fine. At least the airbags didn't deploy which worked out in my favor since those things cost BIG money to install a new one.

The whole passenger side front end is gone. All because a little old lady had the case of lead foot braking syndrome right off the freeway exit ramp. I tried to get out of her way to get into the left hand lane but I ended up clipping her driver side rear with my passenger side front. And of course like all senile old ladies, she looked at me like I was scum and refused to speak to me directly.

Ugh, the WRX is going to be in the shop as soon as I get hold of Geico and set up the towing company to tow it to from the tow yard to the post-collision center.

So no Bronco Daze for us...

I apologize for the thread-jacking... :(

What!!!! that definitely sucks especially so close to the event. I would help out with the cost of the trip but I'm just a broke college student:(. At least she didn't get hurt badly. Are you still going to Denny's at least?
