NNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I guess it is safe to say without a complete motor at your disposal you would have to do a full disassemble of your current motor?
Tore down the engine today Timing chain was still there but very stretched.
Valve train looked good so was going to pull the pan. Went to take out starter and it was wedged in, I had replaced it 3 months ago with a new unit.
A Thrust spacer had broken off the bendix an got wedged between the flywheel and starter locked it up solid.So just need a starter and a timing set and it back on the road. Found a engine at a friends shop but won't need it for now.;D ;D ;D
