The donor will be mine today. It was here at work and headed to the recycler, I made an offer that was just above scrap value and they took the offer.
Its a 1998 F150, 4x4, 4.9;D AOD, air, PB, PS. Lots of goodies for me to use on Chipper!
Best part, it runs great, no smoke. Seems the front crossmember has broken loose and that is why its headed to scrap.
Pics as soon as I get it out the gate, No pictures can be taken in the mill.
Well there are some pics, but I need permission for them to be posted. You know, top secret stuff happens in a pulp/cellulose mill, so Pictures are closely monitored.
Its not much, but runs great, been driven less than 10 MPH over the last 8 years as it was used on site only. Chipper is gonna love the amount of air this set up will give over the 1bbl.
And I am sure the Cab, Hood Fenders and doors will bring in a few bucks.
Got plans for the 8.8 and TTB44
Top secret Cellulose factory pics are still unavailable but I got it out of the facility today and got it to my cousins house.
As I said, it ain't purty, but has everything I need except gaskets for the EFI swap.
Dat front bumper, More metal in it than an SnS Bronco.
Now a question, Would the AOD/1350 fit in a Bronco? or is the 1356 to wide for the frame?
Poor Chipper sat for 2 months while I was working. Out in the weather. Charged the battery, fired right up and drove flawless the 40 mile run to where I will be keeping it for a few weeks till I get settled in my new house!
Now to get her out on the trails,
Nope did not die, Working my Bax off, spent a month in Charleston, Sc, and a month in Hopewell Va.!! Things are settling down a bit now so More Bronco time, Well as long as she approves ;D
Yes the withdraws were getting bad, but the 40 mile ride last night took care of it. After sitting for 2 months all I did was charge the battery and away we went, Man it was COOL!
HC, Actually I am down about 25 pounds, Thanks to living on the road for 2 months, Now to get home to My Darlin!
