I have the Art Carr Reverse manual VB.
I thought I was going to save some transmission heat by NOT getting compression braking in first gear, but now I want it.
However with deep gears, I can shift to 2nd for compression braking.

Reverse manual to me, is more of an hardcore rockcrawling thing. I mainly use it to shift between reverse and 1st quickly to help avoid a roll over.
