I welded on a piece of angle iron on the back end of the stock sliders and drilled a new hole. You have to take them apart as they have Teflon pieces to aid in sliding. Wish I knew that tidbit when I did it. The front holes lined up. The passenger side mounts with the stock brackets with no mods. All in all not too hard of a job.

They are jeep seats.

I just came across this thread...I am about to paint my 73 in a gun metal grey matte. flares, bumpers and interior will all be bedlined in black with oem black seats...rims are black as well. The only thing that I can't decide is to match the dash to the exterior or do it black as well.

I am happy I matched the inside of my grill and my dash to the color of my truck (Sepang Bronze). At some point too much black washes out all of the details and people often go with too many different colors/textures so I stuck with the Sepang Bronze (which looks charcoal grayish), black flares/interior liner/cage/bumpers, and then aluminum rims, chrome headlight rings, emblems, knobs and other details.

Dark Shadow Grey Metallic

I decided on Dark Shadow Grey Metallic and have same color dash with out the pad. I made the dash and installed new gauges. Black carpet ( know your gonna line yours) and black procar seats. I made the door inserts and the rear quarter interior panels using black cordura fabric to cover em. Sorry for the poor picture quality.

Looks great! How do you like that steering wheel? I have been contemplating the same one in black from LMC.

The wheel is okay. I got it from a vendor on ebay. I probably would not get the chrome part if i had to do again. I do not have tilt and wanted to make some more room so I tried to find a pretty "flat" wheel. Meaning it doesn't have much dish to it. it creates about 2 more inches of space but I had to bend the turn signal stalk. Over all i like it besides the chrome.
