Hi fellow Bronco lovers', was wondering what the best brand cam for low end torque and overall performance?
Brand is not a factor......
Everyone will tell you to run what they have because it's the best....
The factory roller block cam for the explorer and the pickups is a darn good torque cam. I ran it for a while....
Explorer F4TE-6250-BA Hydraulic Roller
Intake at 1.6 rocker ratio .422" lift 256 duration
Exhaust at 1.6 rocker ratio .448" lift 266 duration
1.7 rockers is .449 intake and .476 Exhaust
116 lobe separation
I've since moved up to this one. Note this cam comes in at 1500. I'm all street.....I just pose as a offroader. This cam VERY close to the "stump puller" cam the NoCal guys all rave about.
