• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

So I have a really solid 1972 Durango Tan Sport Explorer. This model was only available in 1972 and has two trim packages, the Sport AND Explorer. It's a 302, 3 speed, 3" lift with new 235/85/16's (basically 31x9.50's) on alloy wheels, cut front and rear, fresh recovered front seats with original Saddle rear seat. All original panels, with the only rust in the front floor seams and a few pin holes. The floor panels do NOT need to be replaced. Rear bed, tailgate, rockers, posts and strikers, and rear quarter seams are all NICE!

I'm taking to paint shop next week, but I'm offering it on here if someone is interested before I take it. You know that my fun is the thrill of the hunt, not restoring them. Catch and release!! It is one of the most solid Broncos I've had in a while at this price. Needs paint.

Includes new set of flares. It also has a Hickey Sidewinder winch, dual shocks F/R, bumper braces, and an authentic Stroppe Baja rear roll bar.

If it makes it to paint I'm keeping the winch and roll bar.;D Runs and drives great. Been out west since new, and was in the same family for the last 20 years. PM me if interested and I can send pics from my phone. kids took my charger cord, so I cannot download right now!!

No your 'FUN' is using your status as a long standing member for profit.

I haven't been a member as long as most, but I think the "66-77 Broncos by members only" forum was specifically created to limit listings to Broncos that members have owned and enjoyed and for whatever reason are ready to sell. In fact, here's the description of this particular forum:

"This section is for forum members selling their 66-77 Bronco. Only post here if you are the seller. See the next forum down for posting "not mine" ads..."

I would venture to say that every Bronco you list on here falls into the "not mine" category...and for the record, true "catch and release" fishermen are not commercial fishermen.

Baja Fresh finds some pretty solid Broncos and helps put members behind the wheel at a fair market price, and sometimes less while turning a small profit or finders fee. I do not see any problem here. It's an addictive hobby, nothing more...The only time it gets annoying is when he beats you to the bounty but it's all part of the game!

I have bought two bronco's from Chris (2nd one was two weeks ago). He always represents them accurately and seems to have a good price point. No doubt he makes a profit on most of them. Good for him. He finds some true gems.

Looks like a good find there Chris.

Happy customer here!

If he holds the title he is the Seller. As a long time lurker, I always look forward to what BajaFresh75 has to sell. I'm guessing there are a quite a few members on this forum who got a solid Bronco at a fair price because he does all the leg work finding the deal. If he can make a few bucks doing it, then it's a win/win for everyone involved. Where else can you get a shot at a Bronco that is both a Sport and an Explorer!

Thanks all!!
Funny thing is...EVERY Bronco I've ever sold, I've BOUGHT from another SELLER!! WOW, imagine that!!
When buying, I decide what I think is a fair price, and I offer that price. Some I get, some I don't. It was irrelevant what the seller paid for it, or how much money they were "making". Buyers determine the market, not sellers!!

I try and do the same thing whenever I'm selling. I offer a fair description at a fair price. If you're interested, great, if not...great too!
I owned my first Bronco in 1983, and I've had one or more ever since for the last 34 years. This isn't my 1strodeo!

1st, if you don't like his inventory, then just do not click on his rigs for sale. I bought mine from Chris and could not be happier w/ the transaction. I always look forward to what he has on offer, even though I'm not in the market for one...If he makes a couple of dollars on finding these rare rigs, so be it

Jealous

I myself look forward to seeing the Broncos that Chris brings to this site. He has found quite a few jewels that I myself would love to own and sells at a fair price. When you live in the Rust Belt like we do, those clean old broncos from out west are truly a rarity for us. Keep up with your catch-and-release, I myself am jealous ;D of the talent you have for finding these rides.

Hear, hear!! It is funny how you can sniff these things out better than most, and turn them, but it seems most appreciate your work involved and I think it helps keep the hobby moving forward for true enthusiasts. As long as you're catching and releasing legally, and not snagging! ;D

1st, why the attitude? You pissed because he beat you to a couple in your neck of the woods?

I've bought 4 from Chris in the last 2 years. Guess what, all 4 were his none were brokered. All 4 were bought site unseen based on his description from our phone call. All 4 when they arrived were better than described! Not a bad track record.

End of the day what a chicken sh$$ attack on someone you've probably never met or done a deal with!!

There is a thread goin in chat about the one you regret not buying. Whe I first joined thus site Chris had a nice copper met. '76 stock Bronco c4 ac that worked, listed for around $10K. By the time I decided I was gonna hook to trl. n go get it was sold. That Bronco would be at least a $20K rig on today's market. I think about that mis buy all the time.
