Plates are for sale. Even if you have a brand new NOS detent plate, you will notice an improvement when you change to this improved dentent plate. Detent plates wear. Change it for safety's sake!

I've had problem with mine walking out of PARK, so I carried a "safety rock" (patent pending, lol) to put behind my tire when I park. Then, yesturday, half of my detent plate just fell out of my column, so I think I'll be buying one pretty soon.
