Every one should do this:

It took a while but I printed out a list of all the company's behind the proposal and emailed as many as possible. (Google Then contact) Told them I was a former customer but since their backing of the Outdoor Industry Association letter on the Canyon lands Monument proposal, they will never be frequented by me or any of my associates as possible FOR LIFE.

Despite my Bronco status I like to go to the Easter Jeep Safari every year. I will bring the list with me. If I see someone associated with the list, I will give them an earful. The "Red Rock" club should also print the list in the paper they send out every year and request patrons not spend any money with these company's.

It may be better to let the company's know that many of there customers enjoy all (4x4 and hiking) uses of the land, and stopping us from using it, will stop customers from using there services/supplies...

It may make them think 2x about supporting these proposals?

I agree with your point about not using the products but the problem is that the number of off roaders that would probably stop using their products mean nothing to them. We are a small fraction of their business. They are only concerned with kissing the Tree Huggers Butts. Fact is that there are probably very few hikers that use off roading as a means of recreation. Its a numbers game like everything anymore. %)
