Lost my clutch.. went to investigate and the whole fork came out. I have the new replacement tab and I am in the process of taking the trans out…my question is:
Is the old one riveted in and will it need to be drilled out and tapped or drilled trough and have lock nuts in the back? Just want to know what to do when I get there…

The original should be riveted. Some of the replacement kits come with rivets, some of them come with bolts with locking nuts.
I’ve used both with good results.
