Clutch problem

No matter how far i push the clutch or adjust the linkage i cant get it to release, it is brand new. I am going to drop the trany today unless anyone has a better idea. Thanks

more than likely the clutch disc is in backwards. The side with the raised part of the spring hub should be towards the transmission
