Hey folks,

I am in now way thinking of selling my EB but resale does in fact come to mind now that prices keep climbing. I have a Winters floor shifter now and it is just not my taste. I am thinking of switching over to an ididit column with column shift. Any thoughts on what the market prefers (and is willing to pay for?)

Thanks,

Brett

Depends on the market the bronco is built to sell in. Both are fine choices, but a cruiser buyer and a wannabe racer are not interchangable markets.

Keep it as stock as possible for highest resale. Things like power steering and power and disc brakes are welcome upgrades, but beyond that the bronco begins to be built to your taste and not the retail markets taste. But...... what i would do is build it to how you like and not worry about the resale value. If it is a nice bronco that is put together right then it would sell for a great price either way.

My dad used to rip me for changes I was making on my Broncos, telling me I'm lowering the value.

The power steering and disk brake upgrade was required! Other than that, everything else I have done has been bolt on stuff, like SL, BL and twin sticks.

If I ever sell it, which I doubt, it would be very easy to convert back to bone stock.
