Complete Floor Pan

I'm getting ready to install a complete floor pan assembly that has a weld through primer topcoat.
My question is how should I coat the underside?
(I'd like to do this while I can access it fully)
Should I use something like Rust Bullet or POR-15 or bedliner leaving an inch or so around the edges for welding?
How would I need to prep it seeing that there's already a primer on it?

Thanks for any advice.

This is what I was told to do.

Weld through primer
Weld panel
POR15
Seam sealer
Lizard skin the interior
Undercoat the exterior

Thanks for asking, I just ordered this exact same piece and it should be here on Monday. My big plan was to Por15 the frame while I had good access but I hadn't even thought about treating the underside.

I need to look into this Lizard skin, I have seen it pop up in a fep different threads on here now.

thanks capt,
i was thinking i could apply some kind of coating before welding so i could cover the entire underside including under the transfer case and frame rails easily. the only edges that need to be welded are the upper platform to bed and front edge to toe boards.
do you recommend the sound dampening or ceramic insulation lizard skin?

Follow up question re: Lizard Skin

Capt or anyone else with experience with Lizard Skin or undercoatings:
I went to their website and watched some vids on youtube and it seems like
Lizard Skin may be the way to go on interior floorpans, inner wheel wells and fenders, but maybe not for the underside of the floor pans... should I look at some of the rubberized spray on undercoatings? Eastwood, 3M or Por 15?

Thanks
