As requested, here are some pics. I didn't shoot any far away pics cause yall can go to crab's website to see those. I got a chance to set the cage down into the body and check everything over. I'm still at least a month away from actually installing the cage. First thing i noticed was the way the floor plates (where the bolts go) were installed differently. On the back part, one was turned around. I was unhappy about that until I put the cage down in the bed. The plate was turned another way in order to make it fit. Then I was thinking, whoever planned this is a freaking genius! All the plates touched the body almost perfectly!, nothing like the crappy smittybuilt cage I had in it before. I had a few extra things put on my cage (as you may see in the pics) but it was worth the extra money. I'll post more if I get a chance (maybe a far away pic) but as I said before, I have to get my gauge cluster fixed, my tuffy box in (Oh yeah, please think about putting this in BEFORE you put in your cage) and my dash painted.

How does it fit around the parking brake, will you have to modify anything? Mine should be in the mail about now!

As for the parking brake, you don't have to move it, but you can't use your foot to set it. You can set it with your foot if your body is in the seat but all of you is facing the door or just set it with your hand. When the brake is not set, I can put my big thumb in between the pedal and the cage. The glove box, I can open it and get my whole hand inside (and I have big hands) The only real reason I would convert to a tuffy glove box would be because it would be a real pain in the arse to pull out and install fuses with the limited amount of space. I would encourage you to get the windsheild braces (i know WH has them but not sure who else). And since I pulled out my smittybuilt cage I have holes that can't be used so I'm going to make some square plates that match the floor plates on the cage and use them on the underside of the body to make it a little more sound. Everything else seems to fit quite good.

Monte. Cool! Shot us some pics when you can.

Rob. Have you had a chance to check the price of the harness mount?

There must be more then one of you guy asking me that question. Sorry I can't keep track of who asked what. You can figure $50pr for any custom bent tube plus $5 for every TIG weld. If It's something really extravigant (sp?) It may run another $10-15. Now is the time to get a hold of these cages before we realize how cheap we are

Mass Buy Is Closed!!

Yes, we have reached the 12 cage limit. Actually we ended up selling 15 at the mass buy price. I will post another link to let you know what we can do on a price for a few more cages. Thanks to all that bought a cage and please feel free to let everyone know your overall opinion of our product. We plan on being here for the long haul and adding new products in the future. So your feedback is greatly needed.

Staforester, thanks for the info. I was thinking about what to do about windshield braces, maybe some hiem joint ends and a turnbuckle setup. Your cage looks great, I am really excited about getting mine in. Been running around with no roll bar and lap belts, maybe not so smart.

We will be selling windshield braces soon. I bought my first set up years ago from NAPA. I can't remember the part number but it was a female rod end that accepted standard 1/4x20 all thread which is plenty stout. I believe the heim was 5/16". Total price was about $20. Just ask to go through your parts store book to find what you need.

Here a few more detailed pics. As said before, I had a few extras put on mine so it may not be exact to what you guys are ordering.

Pic's of the cage

Hey y'all - didn't see anyone else posting pics of Rob's cage installed but here's some of mine that I just got done with...I had it Powder Coated at Enduro PC in Irving and am damn happy with it!! Rob's work is spectacular, I especially like the gusset work with ties...man oh man I hope I never really need it but it sure is purty - if I say so myself!!

Thanks again Rob!!
