coolant leak

i have a real bad colant leak on the passenger side of my 76 302 it had a thing by where the header mounts that was un needed so i pinched the end of the tube and welded it to use it as a plug now its spewing coolant out is there an actual plug i can get to fix this?

Can you unscrew it from the head? If so get a plug the same thread from the hardware or auto parts store.

no its kind of weird it has a bolt thru it that is a smaller diameter than the hole being plugged

Can you email me a picture of it? The description makes me think of an EGR fitting but we do not want that to be the case.
