During all my research and question asking for my upcoming engine build/efi swap (whatever it turns out to become), somebody recommended that I poke around and ask some questions at corral.net which is a mustang tuning site with a lot of knowledgable members.

So I signed up for an account on December 18. To date, my account has been created but is still waiting in queue to be approved by an administrator. Until then I can't post quesions or really do anything. I've tried contacting them three or four times and they haven't even responded to say wether things are screwed up or ok?

Anybody else use this site? Is this normal for them? I can't imagine that a site as large and popular as corral seems to be would be run by such ameteurs.

I just signed up this month too. I haven't checked back to see my status. I was looking at the Windsor section for 351's.

I've used it for years and recommend it as an alternative site for engine info for our swaps. Also good classifieds. I think that the delay may be because of the holidays.

I spent most of my time there searching for specific issues that I had (drop in fuel pressure after shutdown, size of injectors, best MAF, TB whistling noises, etc)

They manually verify all new registrations according to the error message I'm getting. Hopefully it is just the holidays, but even if it is you'd think that they'd put up a note about not having an administrator on duty or something....

Needless to say, I'm pretty disappointed.

www.sbftech.com is a much better site for tech. They have tons of tech articles already in stickeys which tells you just about everything you need to know. The crew there is VERY hardcore drag race oriented but the knowledge base is second to none. Good luck and happy new year.....;D

Thanks for the tip. I'll check them out when I have time. I specifically ended up at corral because they have a number of guys running 351s with megasquirt controlled stock efi systems and I wanted to see what they had come up with in the way of base maps. If sbftech has similar info then that will be great.
