I have a stock, uncut, no-lift, 1973 "explorer package" U153, 4450 GVW. My wheel size is 15" x 6" wide. I am having trouble finding the correct tire size. I would like to find out what tire (OEM) was on her when she drove off the show room floor. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

It was close to a 235/75/15 which is around 29x9.25, you can go with 30x9:50 with no probs. Welcome to CB, your right up the road from me.

According to the data sheets in the back of JBG cataloge it was E78/15 and the optional size was 7.00 x 15.
