I have done this on both of my trail trucks i cut 1/4" form top of rocker welded 1/4" x4" plate to rocker and both post and drilled holes in roker lege and plug welded it . I then welded 5"x2" tubing and 2"x2" kickers back to frame I made plates and welded to frame first and then welded 2X2" to that its very strong but the body is fixed to frame now.I have also tied my rollbar to this to.I have 4 2x2x1/4" going to frame this is alittle overkill but its payed for its self already.
