do you have a volt meter? if so, hook it up to the headlights on both sides and see what you get. did you check the ground at the problem headlight? if not check it. it is possable that somewhere between the headlight and the switch you have a bad wire. you can out a relay setup on the heqadlights for less then $50. it will brighten them up cause the power doesn't have to go from the battery to the headlight switch then back to the headlight. I can post the wiring diagram if you need it.

Check the ground wire that is in front of the battery that is attached to the radiator support. I believe there is a black wire that screws to the radiator support. You will have to remove the battery to get to it???.

Bad Hair ??? ... sorry, could not resist.

With the headlamps off, run 12-volts directly from the battery to the positive terminal on the headlamp. If you get full brightness, then your +12 feed circuit has resistance somewhere that is dropping voltage.

A bad ground doesn't have to be where the wire is attached to ground, it could be resistance anywhere along the length of the wire, or even inside the connector that plugs onto the light.

From Daniel Sterns article. I used a relay for each beam(hi/low) I wired it up so that when the hi beams are on the low beam is on also. At the dimmer switch I spliced the power wire from the headlight switch to the low beam wire, that way low beam has power all the time when the switch is on. I put the relays on the fender next to the battery, used the original light wires as activators for the relays, ran a new low and hi beam wire across the front to the driver side light. I cut the original wires for the driver side off at the firewall and taped them up.
