a question for those running headers. when I switched to headers I lost the attachment point of the dipstick. it used to be on the stock manifold. right now its attached to the wheelwell. and the vibration is causing the oil to escape thru the hole that the dipstick tube sticks out of. where should I fasten the dipstick tube to? I think it should be on the engine. the only thing close is a header bolt.

Header bolt.

You can either get a header bolt made from a stud or all thread, then run a couple nuts down on it while using it to attach your header. You are trying to get a mounting surface for you dip stick mount that is similar to your old exhaust manifold.
Instead I bent the dip stick tube and bracket until I could bolt it to the header bolt as is. Not easy, lots of hard bending but it will work.
Lokar has a real nice one that is maluable enough to easily mount to headers,

I extended the mounting bracket and twisted it so it attaches to a valve cover bolt and bent the tube to clear the header tubes .
