It’s what you’re 74 should’ve had originally from the factory.
Was it converted back to points from a previous owner, or by you at some point? Is there still a module on the fender?

And aside from all that, in what month was your 74 built? Just wondering if you have one that’s so early that it didn’t get Dura Spark from the factory. Or what they called Breakerless ignition I think it was? Maybe transistorized ignition? I think that might’ve been GM.
I don’t think they officially gave it the Dura spark name until the next year. But I don’t remember all those details.

It had points originally i replaced them about 20 years ago with magnetic pick up conversion ...just need to know if the above distributor will work. I already know bronco site have their specialty distributor I can't afford to be paying $500 for parts right now I just want to get this God dam garage queen running and I've narrowed it down to the distributor

That distributor you linked to has the OEM style electronic pickup in it. It is intended to work with some other electronic "device" which will read the signal from the pickup in order to create the spark from the coil. That other device is normally the Duraspark box, but could also be an MSD, or other type of electronics of your choosing.

You mention that the one you currently have was converted to a magnetic style pickup. Does that include some external module to read the pickup and control the coil spark, or was it an "all-inclusive" module like the Pertronix?

Then the distributor you linked won't work with your current wiring. You will need a point-type distributor, or a more expensive option.
